If Stevia has a green leaf, where does the white powder come from? The green herb is bleached and powdered to produce a product which looks more like a sweetener and does not affect the color of the food it is added to. White Stevia is highly processed.
The dark green colored whole leaf extract is exceptionally healthful, both internally and externally. Highly concentrated, it has a bitter-sweet taste until properly diluted. White Stevia is processed and standardized up to 80% Rebaudioside A. (400 times sweeter than sugar) to produce a fine white powder with no bitter after taste. The raw powdered herb is green and very sweet, but not as sweet as the processed white stevia. The raw green stevia and to a lesser extent white stevia leaves a slight after-taste.

Ethanol: Ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol, pure alcohol, grain alcohol, or drinking alcohol, is a volatile, flammable, colorless liquid. It is a powerful psychoactive drug, best known as the type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages and in modern thermometers. Ethanol is one of the oldest recreational drugs. In common usage, it is often referred to simply as alcohol or spirits.
Drug Effects: Pure ethanol will irritate the skin and eyes. Nausea, vomiting and intoxication are symptoms of ingestion. Long term use by ingestion can result in serious liver damage.
Rocket Fuel: Ethanol was commonly used as fuel in early bipropellant rocket (liquid propelled) vehicles, in conjunction with an oxidizer such as liquid oxygen. The German V-2 rocket of World War II, credited with beginning the space age, used ethanol, mixed with 25% of water to reduce the combustion chamber temperature.
Possible Long Term Effects of Large Consumption of Ethanol: irritability, cravings, depression, anxiety, panic, psychosis, hallucinations, sleep disorders, impaired memory, cancer, anemia, increased risk of type 2 diabetes.
Fake Stevia is real, but not as easy, as described in the article.
AntwortenLöschenStevia grown in China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. contains chemistry and so does the Steviosid, extracted from it.
It's taste, if overdosed, is bitter!
In Paraguay, Stevia is grown without chemistry and so is the Steviosid - it's pure and clean AND all the abilities are still active, as it is in leafs!!
Best Steviosid will never be bitter.
Steviosid is gained by extracting the green leafs. NO chemical is used for that process and the colour of the Steviosid is slightly yellow.
The sweetness is 300 times sweeter than the leafs.
White Steviosid is the another step where the powder ist cleaned. And Rebaudiosid-A is only sweetness - nothing else left. This sweetness is 500 times sweeter than sugar.
Green powder has nothing to do with Steviosid. Green powder are just shredded leaves.
